The ginger and cardamom are so forward and lively that even a small cup feels like a proper pick-me-up, not just a warm drink. I've been brewing it with milk and a touch of honey, and the black pepper stays present without ever overpowering the sweetness.
That cracked black pepper hits right at the back of the throat before the cinnamon rounds it out—every sip is a little surprise. I brewed a cup this morning and the cardamom smell alone made the whole kitchen smell like a proper chai wallah’s cart.
The ginger’s warmth lingers just long enough before the cinnamon rounds it out—it’s the most balanced chai I’ve tried in ages. Brewed a strong cup this morning and the clove gave it a cozy, slow-building kick that made my whole kitchen smell incredible.
