That first steep hit me with a silky, almost creamy mouthfeel that I wasn’t expecting from a light oolong. The mango and lily come through in waves, but it’s that subtle umami finish that keeps me coming back for another cup.
The mango and white lily notes are unmistakable from the first sip, and the tea soup stays silky through several steeps without turning bitter. I've been brewing it slightly cooler to stretch out that umami finish, and it's become my daily afternoon ritual.
