Translating to "treasure jar" or "magical jar", the Hohin is a traditional teapot that is designed to offer a deep appreciation of the umami flavor, rich mouthfeel, and lovely jade color of Japanese Gyokuro.

The porcelain is so thin and even that the hohin heats up evenly, which really brings out that deep umami and thick mouthfeel in my gyokuro. I poured a small cup and the jade color was stunning, exactly as promised. It's quickly become my go-to for quiet afternoon sessions.
