Twice a year harvest means this one actually tastes fresh, and the lightly oxidized profile comes through with a clean, smooth finish. Brewed up a pot this morning and the leaves unfurled into these beautiful whole leaves. Definitely my new go-to for a calm afternoon cup.
These little balls unfurl into a surprisingly smooth, clean cup. The harvest twice a year really shows in the fresh, vegetal brightness, and even after three steeps it keeps its character.
It's wild how these tiny rolled balls open up completely after a steep, and the highland harvest really comes through in the mellow, clean finish. I've already gone through half the bag in a week, which says a lot for how often I reach for it. Definitely my new go-to for a calm afternoon cup.
