I was skeptical about flower-scented tea, but the scenting process here feels genuinely artisanal—the rose is present but never overpowers the rich, malty body of the Dian Hong. Steeped it three times and the aroma stayed vibrant each round.

The floral aroma hits you the second the hot water touches the leaves — it's genuinely like smelling fresh roses, not a fake syrup. I've tried a lot of scented blacks and this one keeps its natural tea body underneath instead of tasting like a candle.
