Vif, aromatique et citronné avec une finale maltée. Nous infusons des variétés anciennes de thé noir de haute altitude, issues du Triangle d'Or de l'Asie du Sud-Est, avec des citrons de Californie zestés et floraux, ainsi que des « citrons noirs » acidulés et caramélisés, provenant des jungles du Guatemala. Le Citron Noir est très énergisant, aromatique et rafraîchit le palais.
Iced this in a big glass with a lemon wheel and the citrus really pops against that malty black tea base. The California lemon flavor tastes fresh, not artificial, and it brews up bright without getting bitter.
That malty finish is what sold me — it balances the lemony zing perfectly, so it doesn't taste like a fruit bomb. I brewed a pot this morning and the aroma alone brightened up the kitchen.
The citrus really comes through bright and clean, but that malty finish on the back end is what keeps me coming back for another cup. I’ve been brewing it iced in the afternoons and it’s become the only thing that cuts through the heat without turning bitter.
