Unser Sencha wird aus geschätzten Teestrauch-Sorten wie Saemidori und Okumidori hergestellt und ist eine Mischung aus der ersten und zweiten Ernte von Bio-Bauernhöfen auf der Insel Kyushu im Süden Japans.
This is the first tea I've tried that's a blend of first and second flush harvests, and the balance is perfect. The Saemidori and Okumidori cultivars give it a sweetness that lasts even after it cools. Already added it to my weekly rotation.
Brewed this for the first time this afternoon and the blend of first and second flush harvests gives it a nice balance of grassy and slightly sweet notes. It steeps a lovely pale green and doesn't turn bitter even when I got distracted and left it a minute too long.
The Saemidori and Okumidori cultivars really shine here — there's a grassy freshness that lingers nicely without any bitterness. I brew it a bit cooler than usual and it's become my afternoon ritual.
