Grapefruit Quitte

Steeped it iced on a hot afternoon and the hibiscus gives it that deep ruby color that makes you feel like you're drinking something fancy. The tangy bittersweet pop is exactly what I needed to break my iced tea rut.

That yuzu note really comes through alongside the grapefruit—it's tangy without being sharp, and the hibiscus adds a nice deep color to the cup. I've been brewing it hot in the mornings and it's become my favorite way to start the day.

Steeped hot or over ice, that hibiscus base gives it a genuinely fizzy, bittersweet bite that feels more like a fancy soda than a tea. I brewed a big pitcher for the porch and it disappeared before dinner.
